The marriage of two luxury brands under one roof
Le Petit BeefBar Edinburgh, situated within The George hotel, was conceived as part of the hotel’s overall refurbishment.
Tasked with the design of the restaurant and bar spaces, our goal was to seamlessly integrate the new brand into the existing property.
The overall experience is divided into two distinct areas, the casual eatery and bar at the front of the building to the fine dining restaurant at the rear. The casual dining space showcases a centrally located bar with lounge seating and a sumptuous yellow velvet perimeter banquette sitting against high gloss painted green wall panelling.
A staircase to the rear of the room brings you into the fine dining restaurant, with it's ornate decorative ceiling and wall panelling, this setting is crafted to provide an ideal environment for an intimate and refined dining experience in contrast to the casual eatery and bar.
Notable features include a statement skylight that bathes the space in natural light, contributing to an elegant ambiance. Banquettes along the perimeter delineate sections within the dining room, providing spaces for both small as well as sizable gatherings without the necessity for imposing screens.
At the dining room's conclusion rests a grand piano on an elevated platform, harmonizing with live music that enhances the culinary atmosphere from brunch into the evening.
